The construction of the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) light rail network is scheduled to be completed in 2022 and has attracted residential and commercial real estate projects around the 3 new stations in Brossard.
The Léeo electric tramway project will run along Taschereau Boulevard, passing by the Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke metro station and ending at Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. The project could bring 14,000 jobs and 7 million ft2 of office space to the agglomeration.
